Congrats to One Direction! The 'X Factor U.K.' alumni are blowing up the Hot 100 charts in the biggest debut from a U.K. artist since 1998.

Billboard reports that the group's first U.S. single, 'What Makes You Beautiful,' debuted at No. 28 on the Hot 100. The track sold 132,000 downloads, placing at No. 12 on the Digital Songs chart. It's the highest chart debut from a U.K. act since 1998, when the Verve's 'Bittersweet Symphony' blew up in America at No. 13. Impressive, boys! Even more impressive? The song hasn't even been released to radio yet!

It's only the latest honor for the lovable blokes, who are fresh off of a 2012 BRIT Award win for Best British Single for 'What Makes You Beautiful.'

The group recently wrapped filming on an episode of 'iCarly' (check out their performance) and kick off their tour with Big Time Rush today (Feb. 24). We expect to hear a lot more from them -- and for their rankings to be even higher in the coming weeks.
