Taylor Swift is used to being the star of the show but on Christmas Eve, the 'Blank Space' singer was simply a fan taking in a Broadway show starring Hugh Jackman.
The New York Daily News reports that Swift took her family to a matinee showing of Jackman's play 'The River' which is currently running on Broadway in New York City.
The singer even bid $6,000 for a shirt worn by Jackman during the performance. She ended up being the top bidder, and Swift and her family got a chance to meet Jackman backstage after the play.
Jackman shared a photo with the pop star on his Instagram account and wrote, "Lovely to see @taylorswift13 and her family. Merry Christmas Eve to all xoxx."
The NYDN also reports that Jackman threw in an extra $6,000 himself to match Swift's donation. Jackman has been an active supporter for Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS. The 'X-Men' star has reportedly raised almost $1 million for the charity to date.
