Taylor Swift released her seventh studio album, Lover, on Friday (August 23) to rave reviews from her Swifties.

Swift's new eighteen tracks feature some of her most eclectic and personal work yet, one of which includes the heartwrenching song, "Soon You'll Get Better," which details her family's experience with her mother fighting cancer. Another stand out song includes "The Man" where Swift describes the hypocrisy and sexism between the ideals of men and women.

Swift's album features electronic elements, a return to her acoustic country roots and much more. This album also marks the first album in which Swift will own the masters and rights to her music from the get-go. She announced that she will be re-recording her first five albums next year to gain control of her masters back, which currently her former label, Big Machine, owns.

This week, Swift is busy in New York City with a pop-up shop for her fashion line with Stella McCartney along with other press.

Lover is available now on all music platforms as well as available in-store at Target with four unique deluxe editions of the album.
