Selena Gomez, Taylor Swift Lead 2011 Teen Choice Awards Nominations

Selena Gomez and Taylor Swift are among the leading contenders for the Teen Choice Awards, with Justin Bieber, Adele, Lady Gaga and Eminem also scoring multiple nominations.

As reported by E!, the nominees cover the fields of movies, music, television, fashion, sports and more. 'The Twilight Saga: Eclipse' was the top nominee with 12 nods overall. The 'Glee' Cast earned eight, including Choice Music Group.

Among musicians, Gomez picked up noms for Choice Music Group with the Scene, Music Single for 'Who Says,' Choice Love Song for 'Love You Like a Love Song,' as well as Choice TV Actress and Choice Female Hottie.

Swift was recognized for Female Artist, Female Country Artist, Female Fashion Icon, Country Single and Choice Love Song for 'Mean,' and Breakup Song for 'Back to December.' Notably, she competes against ex Joe Jonas for the Breakup Song Award.

Bieber shows up in some odd categories: Best TV Villian, for his role on CSI, Male Hottie, Male Fashion Icon, Male Artist, and Choice Twit, which presumably rewards the most interesting tweeter.
