All we have to say about this is: YES! Anna Kendrick will soon publisher her first book of essays, and if it's anything like her Twitter feed, it's going to be effing hilarious.

"I'm excited to publish my first book and because I get uncomfortable when people have high expectations, I'd like to use this opportunity to showcase my ineptitude, pettiness, and the frequency with which I embarrass myself," Anna reportedly said.

The book will be published by Touchstone, an imprint of publishing giant Simon & Schuster, in fall of 2016. "[Anna] is the rare entertainer whose impressive arsenal of talents is equally matched by her sharp wit and wry observations about life," the publisher said in a statement (via Entertainment Tonight).

We know this will be good, not just because Anna is consistently funny in her social media ramblings and interviews, but also because — as Lip Sync Battle host Chrissy Teigen pointed out during Anna's appearance on the show — "Anna can do everything well."

We can only hope that the book will be full of similarly self-depreciating commentary and refreshing candor. It's pretty awesome that someone like Anna, who is in basically every movie ever and is insanely good at so many things (singing, acting, dancing, secretly devouring Taco Bell meals, to name a few things) can remain so completely down-to-earth and relatable.
