Former ‘Bachelor’ Contestants AshLee Frazier + Michael Garofola Are Dating

'The Bachelor' and 'The Bachelorette' contestants AshLee Frazier and Michael Garofola may not have found love on their respective seasons of the reality dating shows, but they found it with each other, outside of the confines of the series and its ancillary events.

Frazier competed on Season 17 for Sean Lowe's affections, while Garofola was on Season 9 of 'The Bachelorette,' which was Desiree Hartsock's season.

Frazier and Garofola have been dating for a few months now. They did not meet as a result of the show. In fact, their union was much more organic.

"We met the old-fashioned way," Frazier told PEOPLE. "A law school friend of his was dating a childhood friend of mine and they introduced us." While she was "not interested" in dating someone from the show, Garofola changed her mind. She said, "He's not only very handsome, especially in a tux, but highly intelligent, well-spoken and supports my dreams and ambitions."

Sounds like a catch.

"We didn't meet at a Bachelor speed dating event," Garofola joked.

The franchise often has post-season events, where alumnae tend to hook up! That wasn't the case for these two!
