Prince William and Kate Middleton apparently have a very simple strategy for dealing with Harry and Meghan Markle's latest British chapter: do absolutely nothing.

Sources tell Naughty But Nice the Prince and Princess of Wales don't believe the Sussexes are truly moving home, viewing their reported six-month stay as temporary.

Rather than fight it, they're reportedly content to sit back and see what happens.

The strategy reportedly extends to Meghan's rumored acting plans in Britain. While discussions have taken place, sources say there was never a finalized deal.

"There was never a signed, sealed acting job," an insider says. "Meghan wants it badly, but this was always a possibility, not a done deal."

The source also claimed Meghan's interest in spending more time in Britain was driven largely by potential work.

If the opportunity was filming in Canada, they'd be talking about Canada. Britain is about the potential work. For Harry, the bonus is spending more time near his family.

Let Harry and Meghan Make the Headlines

William reportedly isn't worried about what happens next.

William has enormous confidence in Harry and Meghan's ability to create their own problems. Why interfere? Every time there's chaos around them, William and Kate look calmer, stronger and more dependable.

So while the Sussexes prepare for their next British chapter, William and Kate reportedly aren't fighting for the spotlight: They're letting Harry and Meghan have it.
