BTS just broke another major record: Just days after pre-sales for their upcoming new album, Love Yourself: Tear, went live on April 18, the record has already logged a record-breaking 1.44 million pre-sales (as of April 24), making BTS the South Korean act with the most pre-sale orders for a single album, ever.

The boys broke their own record, earning an additional 400,000+ pre-sales than their album Love Yourself: Her, which reached 1 million pre-sales in September 2017.

The 1,449,287 orders for Love Yourself: Tear logged by iriver, the company that oversees BTS' album distribution, only accounts for domestic orders, and doesn't take potential global pre-sales into consideration.

On Thursday (April 26), BTS announced a new world tour in support of the album. The Love Yourself BTS World Tour kicks off in Seoul August 25, with more dates to be announced.

The group will also perform at the 2018 Billboard Music Awards on May 20, where they'll debut their forthcoming new single.
