Demi Lovato to Be a Bridesmaid

Demi Lovato is walking down the aisle, but she won't be dressed in white. The singer's 'Sonny With a Chance' co-star Tiffany Thorton has asked the 18-year-old to be a bridesmaid at her upcoming nuptials.

According to Celebuzz [via PEOPLE], Thornton broke the news on Wednesday. "Demi is one of my bridesmaids!" she said. "We go way back. She's like a little sister to me. She's one of my closest friends."

The 25-year-old bride-to-be got engaged in December. Since then, she has been a source of support for Lovato, who has completed a three months of treatment in rehab, and admitted to struggling with cutting, anorexia, bulimia and bipolar disorder.

"We hang out a lot, we talk about our faith," Thornton added. "I just really enjoy spending time with her." Well, if you take wedding planning and an upcoming bachelorette party into consideration, it looks like the two Disney stars will have plenty more opportunities to bond.

Thornton has yet to release a date for her wedding. Lovato announced that she would not be returning to the 'Sonny With a Chance,' instead focusing on her music career.
