Justin Timberlake reacted to Ariana Grande's epic performance with NSYNC at Coachella.

The singer was noticeably absent when his former bandmates hit the stage to perform "Tearin' Up My Heart" with the pop star, prompting fans to wonder why he was a no-show during their highly-anticipated reunion. It turns out, he had other commitments, but that didn't stop him from praising Grande and the boys on social media.

"You guys killed it last night," JT wrote alongside an Instagram photo on Monday (April 15) that sees Grande posing for a selfie with Joey FatoneLance Bass, JC Chasez, and Chris Kirkpatrick.

According to TMZ, Timberlake really wanted to join in on the Coachella collaboration and thought the whole idea was "cool" when Grande's team approached him. However, he "couldn't get his schedule lined up for rehearsals," so he ultimately turned down the opportunity so he could finish up his The Man of the Woods Tour.

As the website points out, Timberlake made it clear that an NSYNC reunion was never going to happen a few years ago, so the fact that he was open to Grande's collab is very surprising. But let's not get too excited because TMZ also reports Timberlake was only interested in this show because it was a "one-off special event."
