KCON 2017 NY Concert Recap: Twice, Highlight, CNBLUE + More Perform
KCON 2017 NY Presented by Toyota lit up the Prudential Center in Newark, NJ this weekend (Friday, June 23 and Saturday, June 24) where superstars from the South Korean music scene—from girl group TWICE to boy band Hightlight—came together to perform as part of a star-studded lineup.
Day 1 saw performances from the energetic SF9 (who delighted the crowed with a cute comedy sketch, where members proposed to a starstruck concertgoer), KNK, R&B star Zion. T and GFriend, who performed charming singles like "Fingertip." At one point, Highlight's Dongwoon and GFriend's Yuju teamed up for a gorgeous, romantic duet of "Beauty and the Beast."
Later, Highlight headlined, treating the crowd to massive hits like "Plz Don't Be Sad" and "Good Luck."
On Day 2, K-pop groups NCT 127, CNBLUE, UP10TION and TWICE, who dazzled the crowd with their smash "TT," performed, bringing the festival to an exciting close. Until next year!
