On Monday night (May 7) celebrities have been celebrating the biggest night in fashion at the Met Gala in New York City, and Nicki Minaj used the prestigious platform to officially announce her fourth album.

Queen and is dropping June 15, the rapper revealed on the red carpet. The forthcoming LP is the follow up to 2014's
The Pinkprint.

Last week, Minaj dropped videos for her two latest singles—"Chun-Li" and "Barbie Tingz"—both of which will be featured on Queen.

In October, she told The New York Times' T that fans should expect something completely new from her next chapter.

"This album is everything in my life coming full circle and me being truly, genuinely happy," she said. "It feels almost like a celebration. The last album, The Pinkprint, was almost like my diary, closing the chapter on certain things and not knowing if I was happy or sad about beginning new chapters. I was really writing about feeling unsure. Now, I can tell you guys what happened for the last two years of my life. I know who I am. I am getting Nicki Minaj figured out with this album and I’m loving her.”
