Taylor Swift vs. Selena Gomez – PopCrush Prom Queen of 2015 [ROUND 2]

Round two of PopCrush's Prom King and Queen competition is currently under way, giving you guys the chance to crown your faves with the Internet's highest honor. Sort of. This round sees Taylor Swift up against Selena Gomez -- which might be kind of awkward for the two of them, considering they're best friends. But the easiest way to prove a friendship between two people is to pit them against each other and see how gracefully the loser reacts. You now have the power to see it all go down.

Taylor Swift is still riding off the success of everything she has ever released. She's broken countless records, she owns monogrammed cat carriers, she once dated Harry Styles -- you would think that after all that, the only way to go is down. And yet somehow, Taylor's life just keeps getting better. She's currently touring for her mammoth pop masterpiece 1989 and fans don't even seem upset that she's ditched nearly all of her pre-Red material this time around. Even Nirvana fans got pissed when the band stopped playing "Smells Like Teen Spirit." Talk about power.

Selena Gomez, meanwhile, seems to have found herself at long last. Her super emotional, heartfelt rendition of her ballad "The Heart Wants What It Wants" at the 2014 American Music Awards may have been accompanied by some incredibly cheesy effects, but no one can deny that those tears were real. We might have been crying, too. You weren't there, so you'll never know. Selena's also a fantastic actress, having starred on her own Disney show and recently played opposite James Franco in the super edgy Spring Breakers.
