Trace Adkins, Country Singer and ‘Celebrity Apprentice’ Star, Enters Rehab
Trace Adkins, who you may know as a country singer and former contestant on 'Celebrity Apprentice,' has checked himself into rehab.
A spokesperson for Adkins confirmed the news, saying that after having the singer had his first drink in more than a decade, he signed into a treatment center this week.
As the rep told Country Weekly, "As he faces these issues head-on, we ask that his family’s privacy will be respected."
TMZ reports that there's more to the story, claiming that a drunk Adkins got in a fight on a cruise ship on Monday (Jan. 13) with a Trace Adkins impersonator.
After the incident, he left the ship and shipped himself off to rehab. As a result, all his headlining performances on the Country Cruising ship have been canceled.
Adkins was the runner-up on 2008's 'Celebrity Apprentice' -- his first go around -- and later went on to win 'All-Star Celebrity Apprentice.'
We wish him a speedy and healthy recovery.
