K-Pop Stars BTS Are Coming to YouTube With ‘BURN THE STAGE’ Docuseries
BTS are bringing their onstage fire to the small screen.
The South Korean pop phenoms, who have amassed more than 10 billion views to date on the video platform, are set to star in their own YouTube Original series, BTS: BURN THE STAGE.
Hitting YouTube Red later in March, the eight-episode series promises an "intimate eyewitness account of their star-making, sold-out [2017] world tour," according to a press release.
The show will also celebrate the "triumphs of their friendship as they overcome hardships together" while out on the road during their 2017 BTS Live Trilogy Episode III: The Wings Tour trek across Asia, North America, South America and Australia.
BTS: BURN THE STAGE will feature interviews with the band members, never-before-seen footage of breakthrough moments (including their performance at the American Music Awards) and "raw moments" with the group backstage.
BTS: BURN THE STAGE premieres on Wednesday, March 28 at 8 a.m. PST/11 a.m. EST.
Episode 1 will be free to watch for all fans on YouTube, but viewers will need to sign up for YouTube Red to watch subsequent episodes.
