Can't we all just get along? It looks like Katy Perry's maybe-boyfriend, Diplo, has aimed a direct hit toward Taylor Swift with a series of relatively immature tweets.

Taking to Twitter earlier today (Nov. 12), Diplo took a page right out of a teenager's book of insults by taking a shot at Taylor's appearance, saying: "Someone should make a kickstarter to get taylor swift a booty." You can see that tweet above. He later tweeted a link to an obnoxious fundly campaign titled 'Get Taylor Swift A Booty,' started by a fan.

The tweets may have something to do with the Taylor-penned song, 'Bad Blood' that appears on her record-breaking album '1989.' The track is rumored (though never officially confirmed) to be about Diplo's rumored (though never officially confirmed) girlfriend, Katy Perry. In her cover story with Rolling Stone, Taylor said of the unnamed subject of the song: “She would come up to me at awards shows and say something and walk away, and I would think, ‘Are we friends, or did she just give me the harshest insult of my life?’” Then last year, the other star crossed a line. “She did something so horrible,” Swift says. “I was like, ‘Oh, we’re just straight-up enemies.’"

Shortly after the Rolling Stone interview came out, Katy posted the following tweet, which some took as a jab at Taylor:

In any case, we're not sure why Diplo decided to stir up this controversy this much later. Taylor fans, of course, took to Twitter to defend the 'Blank Space' singer, with one tweeting: "@diplo someone should make you a kickstarter bc no one knows who the f--- you are."

The only good that can come out of this? A response from Taylor in the form of an amazing hit song -- but that's her call.

Contrary to popular belief, Diplo is 36-years-old, not 16.
