Kelly Osbourne is supporting Kathy Griffin after the redheaded comedian announced, in a lengthy, heartfelt tweet on Thursday (March 12), that she quit E!'s Fashion Police.

"I couldn't be more proud of you @kathygriffin," Osbourne -- who recently quit the show herself -- tweeted on Thursday. "You have my love and support always." In typical Kelly Osbourne/Kathy Griffin fashion, the lilac-haired TV personality accompanied the tweet with a black and white photo of the two jokingly entangled in a French kiss. Because of course. (See the tweet below.)

Griffin, who departed the show on Thursday after just seven episodes, explained at length how she felt the show was not the right fit for her and how she doesn't "want to use my comedy to contribute to a culture of unattainable perfectionism and intolerance towards difference." She was originally set to replace her friend, the iconic Joan Rivers, as the brash host of the show after Rivers tragically passed away in September.

The comedian's departure comes just weeks after Osbourne quit the programFashion Police has been under intense scrutiny since late February, when panelist Giuliana Rancic made controversial comments about Zendaya's dreadlocks, for which she later apologized.

No word so far as to who will replace either Kelly Osbourne or Kathy Griffin in the wake of their departures from the show.
