The 2015 PopCrush Fan Choice Awards are here, which means you get the chance to vote in various categories. This category is one of our favorites (all right, they're all pretty great): Song of the Year. When we look back at the past year, it feels nearly impossible to pinpoint a single song that dominated the pop scene over all others, because there was so much insane talent on the radio, on television and even on our dads' iPods. (Hello, One Direction's 'Four' is the greatest dad-rock album in years, and we're sticking by that.)

Don't worry, we'll give you a run down of the nominees so you don't have to rack your brain trying to remember all the way back to last January. Trust us -- we know how you feel.

Taylor Swift -- who, arguably, had the best year ever -- returned to the music scene in full-on pop mode with 'Shake It Off,' crowning her pop princess of 2014. 5 Seconds of Summer exploded onto the scene with our fave throwback to our pop-punk scene days of yesteryear, 'She Looks So Perfect.' Sticking with that theme of total kickassery with mass amounts of attitude is Charli XCX's 'Boom Clap' -- which is part of one of our favorite movies of the year, 'The Fault in Our Stars' -- but we digress.

There was the insanely catchy, sassy track by Ariana Grande that had a fantastic feature from Iggy Azalea, 'Problem,' as well as one of Iggy's own tracks (featuring Charli XCX), 'Fancy.' Pop saw some seriously catchy singles this year, rounding out the upbeat tracks with Jessie J, Ariana Grande and Nicki Minaj's 'Bang Bang.' Oh, and speaking of Nicki -- who could forget the booty anthem of the year, 'Anaconda'?

Not to be overshadowed by their club-ready pop counterparts, Cody Simpson and Justin Bieber released the super smooth 'Home to Mama,' while Ed Sheeran delivered one of our favorite ballads (probably of all time), 'Thinking Out Loud.' Dear anyone who ever proposes to us: Do it with one of those songs playing in the background, and we might just say yes.

And if that doesn't work, you can always listen to 'The Heart Wants What It Wants' by Selena Gomez as you drive away, crying alone in your car. What a game changer.

There's also the dark club anthem 'Dark Horse' by Katy Perry, as well as Lady Gaga's 'G.U.Y.' Newcomers Meghan Trainor and Sam Smith also totally delivered with their tracks 'All About That Bass' and 'Stay With Me,' respectively. If their songs give us any insight into what's the come in 2015, we're totally stoked.

Finally, no year would be complete without a new One Direction track, and the crazy fun, Journey-inspired 'Steal My Girl' was everything we've ever wanted -- weird music video and all.

Hard to believe all of these happened over the span of 12 months, right? That's exactly how we feel!

Vote in the poll below for your favorite song of the year! Don't forget that you can vote once per hour up until the polls close at 10AM ET on Feb. 17, so keep coming back to PopCrush to show support for your top pick.
