SZA mesmerizes in the sleek new video for her latest neo-soul single, "The Weekend."

Directed by Solange Knowles, who won the Best R&B Performance Grammy for "Cranes in the Sky" in 2017, the stunning clip for "The Weekend" finds SZA dancing sensually in a number of industrial locations, including on the balcony of an apartment complex and inside a deserted parking garage.

The meaning of the lyrics behind "The Weekend" has been a point of interest and dissection for fans, many of whom initially believed the song was about a "side chick" having an affair with a taken man on the weekends.

However, in July SZA revealed on Twitter that the lyric, "My man is my man is your man / Heard this her man, too" is actually about three women getting played by the same man. She also hinted that the subject of the song, the weekend lover, yearns for a monogamous relationship and more time with him:

I gotta say I’m in the mood for a little bit more of that
I mean I’m saying what kind of deal is two days?
I need me at least ‘bout four of them
More of them, more of you on me
On us, just tell me you want me, yeah

"The Weekend" is off SZA's debut studio album, Ctrl, and was preceded by singles "Drew Barrymore" and "Love Galore." Ctrl was released on June 9.

SZA is nominated for five 2018 Grammy Awards: Herself for Best New Artist; Ctrl for Best Urban Contemporary Album; "The Weekend" for Best R&B Performance; "Supermodel" for Best R&B Song; and "Love Galore" (featuring Travis Scott) for Best Rap/Sung Performance.
