Pete Davidson Is Trying to Move on From Ariana Grande by Joining a Dating App
It seems as though Pete Davidson doesn't like being single. Right before his whirlwind relationship with Ariana Grande, the Saturday Night Live star was in a longterm relationship with (and possibly proposed to) Larry David's daughter, Cazzie. Now, less than two months after he and the pop star broke off their engagement, the comedian is reportedly ready to meet someone new.
A source told E! News that the 25-year-old "is dating again," while another source told Entertainment Tonight that the funny man recently signed up for a popular dating app.
“He wants a fresh start,” the source told the outlet. “He’s focusing on his self-happiness.”
The news comes the same day Davidson took to his recently re-activated Instagram account to address being bullied and having suicidal thoughts.
"I've kept my mouth shut. Never mentioned any names, never said a word about anyone or anything," he began the lengthy message. "I'm trying to understand how when something happens to a guy the whole entire world just trashes him without any facts or frame of reference. Especially in today's climate where everyone loves to be offended and upset it truly is mind-boggling."
"I've been getting online bullied and in public by people for nine months," he added. "I've spoken about BPD and being suicidal publicly only in the hopes that it will help bring awareness and help kids like myself who don't want to be on this earth. I just want you guys to know. No matter how hard the internet or anyone tries to make me kill myself. I won't. I'm upset I even have to say this. To all those holding me down and seeing this for what it is - I see you and I love you."
