Big "Out of the Woods" fan? Couldn't get enough of that "Blank Space" beat? Well, relish those pop-ripe tones while you can, because Taylor Swift might return to her country roots with her next album.

According to Entertainment TonightSwift is hard at work in Nashville recording her sixth LP, a follow-up to 1989. The 2014 album took a noticeably more mainstream approach to music than Swift's preceding work, but ET says the Tennessee studio sessions might be rubbing off on the "Style" singer, and that she's seriously considering another country project.

But whether the work is ultimately country or pop, a source told the site that the album will definitely drop by the end of 2017. Until then, though, Swift's committed to staying out of the limelight, social media included. The only time she's posted on Instagram within the last two months is to promote the release of her friend Lorde's new single "Green Light."

In November 2016, fans got the impression that Swift's next album was right around the corner thanks to a tweet from her management, but the post proved to be a false alarm. Swift vowed not to tour in 2017, and has already performed the only show she had planned: a pre-Super Bowl event in Houston at which she debuted a live version of "I Don't Wanna Live Forever."
